Otherwise known as bittersweet. This less poisonous cousin of deadly nightshade is hard to ignore. Its beautiful, star shaped flowers with rich purple petals and bright yellow bullet like stamens can be found clambering through woodlands and untamed hedgerows. I found these specimens along the edge of an overgrown stream.
 
It was pressed using the traditional method of flower pressing and then photocopied to create this lovely and unique print.
